The Bellows Free Academy's school counseling program provides a comprehensivedevelopmental program which promotes the academic, career, and personal/social
development of all students, PK - 12th grade. In partnership with educators, parents,
and community resources, the program promotes the mission of all students becoming
informed, literate, critical thinkers who demonstrate responsible social and civic behaviors.
The Guidance Office is also responsible for managing student records, student registrations
and transfers, and student scheduling (Grades 6-12). Resources are available in the
Guidance Office including information on parenting, post-secondary education, and
career information.

Guidance News ACT has been implementing new test security requirements, including the provision of a photo with the student’s test registration. Photos will be used for identification purposes on test day and on the student’s high school score report.
If you have students who are testing in December, the photo upload deadline is 12 noon, central time, December 4. If students miss this deadline, their registration will be cancelled and they will not be allowed to test. This policy will be strictly enforced. If your students have questions about providing a photo, you can refer to our photo submission requirements for more information.
